Called by Name

Scripture: “Zacchaeus, come down at once. I must stay at your house today.” — Luke 19:5

As Jesus walked through Jericho, He stopped, looked up, and called Zacchaeus by name. This moment was not just a chance encounter; it was a divine appointment. Jesus’ intentional grace pierced through the noise of the crowd and reached into Zacchaeus’ heart. In the same way, Jesus knows us intimately and calls us by name, inviting us into a relationship that transforms us.

Personal Encouragement: Remember, you are known and loved by God. No obstacle is too great for His grace to reach you. When Jesus calls, His request is both personal and purposeful.

Action Step: Take a moment today to listen for Jesus’ voice calling you by name. Respond with a heart open to His presence, and invite Him into your daily life, and walk in His transforming love.
